Active large louvre blades with linear drive – dynamic sun shading and design unit

The Schüco ALB (Aluminium Louvre Blades) sun shading system with linearly driven large louvre blades offers optimal solutions for combining dynamic sun shading with attractive façade design.

The wide range of louvre blades with hollow, rectangular and parallelogram designs as well as a “high-tech” design ensure that architects and specifiers have the maximum architectural design freedom, whilst also meeting the highest requirements in comfort and light penetration. The angle of the louvre blades can be adjusted as required depending on the position of the sun for reliable protection against overheating due to direct solar radiation.

A special highlight is the “high-tech” option, which offers a load-bearing profile with a planar surface for attaching various former sheet metal louvre blades, with or without perforation. A further benefit is that this system solution markedly reduces the work required by the fabricator due to profile-integrated screw ports and the use of system axes.

Tested Schüco system components allow secure and easy attachment to Schüco façades and existing substructures.

The active large louvre blades in various basic depths can be fitted horizontally or vertically irrespective of wind conditions and turned by up to 110° using the linear drives.
